1. Eva Perón (Evita)
The most visited site is undoubtedly the Duarte family mausoleum. Despite her immense fame and controversial legacy, her tomb is relatively modest and heavily fortified compared to the grand crypts surrounding it. It is usually covered in flowers left by devoted followers.
2. Rufina Cambaceres
One of the cemetery's most tragic legends. The story goes that Rufina suffered from cataplexy and was mistakenly buried alive. Her stunning Art Nouveau statue depicts her opening the crypt door to escape.
3. Liliana Crociati
Tragically killed during her honeymoon in Austria in the 1970s. Her unique neo-Gothic vault features a life-size bronze statue of Liliana in her wedding dress, accompanied by her beloved dog, Sabú.

Practical Info
The cemetery is open daily, but non-Argentine residents must pay an entrance fee (payable only by credit/debit card, no cash accepted). Arrive early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the hottest parts of the day and the largest tour groups.
